Andrew Lamkin is principal in the law firm of Andrew M. Andrew is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. Andrew is also a member of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar, where he is active in the Medicaid and Estate planning sections. Andrew received his J.D. from Widener School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. in Political Science and History from Syracuse University in 1996. Andrew is also an active member of the Plainview Old Bethpage Chamber of Commerce, for which is the Membership Secretary, and the Senior Umbrella Network of Nassau County (SUNN). Andrew and his wife have a daughter and son and reside in Plainview, NY.

Francesca Carlow has been proud to serve as president of POB Chamber of Commerce since 2003. She and her husband Bruce are co- owners of Trio Hardware and in addition working at the store she works hard to build, promote and fight for small businesses on Long Island. Francesca works with State, County and the Town of Oyster Bay on issues to help insure a positive future for Long Island. The Nassau County Legislature recognized Francesca as one of the 2008 Women Trailblazer for her work in promoting small business and community initiatives. Currently Francesca serves as 2nd VP of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce, the umbrella organization for 48 individual chambers. She is involved with Nassau County Planning and has lobbied in Albany for responsible representation for Long Island. Francesca worked with the USGA to establish a local business presence at the 2009 US Open at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale. She is a member of the Long Island 2035 Committee and in 2009 was appointed to Nassau Country Empire Zone Administration Board.

He has been active with the Chamber since 2005, currently serving as its Treasurer, but has been active in the Plainview Old Bethpage community for the past 30 years. Gary has previously served as the President of the POB Soccer Club and has served 2 terms as a Trustee on the POB Board of Education. In 2009, he was named Plainview Old Bethpage Small Business Person of the Year by the Nassau County Chambers of Commerce. Gary and his wife Toby, a reading specialist at Mattlin Middle School, are proud parents of triplet sons Bradley, Jason and David and their daughters-in-law Sara and Jessica.

Ilene Sommer has been a member of the POBCOC since 2005, and attributes the success of her Marketing Promotions business to the support system that the Chamber provides. With a desire to give back to the Community, she accepted a nomination to the Board in 2007. Ilene graduated from Ohio State University’s School of Allied Medicine, where she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Tennis Team. She continues to compete and is passionate about the game. Working in Office Management in the Medical Field, Ilene soon learned that her organizational and problem solving skills could translate into any type of business. She became Controller of a Photo Production Studio and helped grow a small business into an award-winning enterprise. In 2005, Ilene joined Logos Unlimited – a source for Marketing Promotions, where her skills and creative talent blend. With her Golden Retriever by her side, Ilene (and Monti) volunteer their time by offering Pet Therapy at several local Senior Communities, which are connections that have been made through the POBCOC.

Karen L. Malamud is the Marketing Director and Physician Network Coordinator at East Coast Fertility since 2003. For the past five years, she has been a Board Member of the POBCOC currently serving as recording secretary, as well as co-chairing the membership committee. Prior to joining ECF, Karen was a partner in an Equipment Leasing business for 18 years. Karen has lived in the community her entire life. She has volunteered with many community groups and worthy charitable causes. In addition, Karen sells residential Real Estate with her partner and mother Diane Schueller in our local area. When not wearing one of her many hats, Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Marcia Finkelstein has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce for 10 years and is a resident of Plainview for 40 years. During this time, as a board member, she has been active with numerous Chamber functions and events. Marcia has been heavily involved in the field of Real Estate since 1977, first as a real estate broker and then for 22 years as the Real Estate Broker/Owner of ROBIN REALTY in Plainview during which time she was able to serve the community in the capacity of a small business owner. For the past 3 years she has been affiliated as a Broker Associate of LYNDA BAKER REALTY, the leading independent real estate agency on the North Shore with 3 offices. Marcia handles all phases of real estate including Residential and Commercial Sales, Rental Properties, Appraisals and Management. Her 33 years of experience in Real Estate has enabled her to do what she loves best. Her previous careers include that of a NYC Elementary School Teacher and as a Licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Marcia received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College and a Masters in Education degree from Hunter College. Presently she is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, the Long Island Board of Realtors and the Long Island Commercial Network (LICN). For the past 10 years, she has been an active member of Business Network International (BNI) which promotes the growth of small businesses. She holds certifications as a Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). Marcia serves her community through Plainview Jewish Center and is a longtime member of Women’s American ORT. She is married to Harold, a tax attorney and Hofstra College Professor and they have 3 wonderful married children and 5 adorable grandchildren. Her most precious time is spending it with all the kids, cooking, reading, gardening and playing sports.

"Marianne has been a board member for the chamber since 2003. She is the Business Branch Manager, Vice President at Capital One Bank in Plainview. She enjoys teaming up with her clients not only as their banker but as a business consultant. She adds value to her business relationships with 34 years of banking experience. She invites members to speak with her on any bank related questions. Over the years, Marianne did volunteer work with the Girl Scouts, taught religious education at St. Raphael’s in East Meadow, and participated in numerous CRA activities in which she represented Capital One Bank. Marianne is married for 30+ years to her best friend, Bob. She is the proud mother of Jen, a zookeeper; Kim, a future journalist/film producer and Meredith, a future Health Science Teacher.
