Chamber members, elected officials, family and friends gathered on November 6th to recognize Andrea Goldman’s efforts, leadership and dedication to her clients and the community. Andrea was selected by her peers as the POB Chamber’s Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce 2020 Businessperson of the Year. The prestigious award is bestowed upon a chamber member who has “made a significant contribution to the local economy, to the advancement of the chamber and has made a meaningful and important contribution to the general welfare of the local community.”
POBCOC President Andrew Lamkin: “Andrea has played a vital role in the growth and stability of the chamber, offering her talents and passions to many of our committees. No one is more deserving of this honor.”
Thank you to NY State Assemblyman Charles Lavine, TOB Supervisor Joseph Saladino and NC Legislator Arnie Drucker for taking the time to celebrate Andrea’s accomplishments with the chamber. NY State Senator Jim Gaughran’s office also delivered a proclamation for our honoree. Thank you to POB Chamber member Alex Wolff for photographing this special in-person event, held outdoors at the chamber’s Serenity Garden greenspace on Old Country Road.
Andrea is currently the Second Vice President of the chamber and the founder of The Family College Experience, LLC which she established in 2015. She works with students and families to reduce the stress associated with navigating the college process. She is a professional member of IECA, and a member of NACAC, NYSACAC and the Nassau Counselors’ Association.
