Andrew Lamkin is principal in the law firm of Andrew M. Lamkin, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of elder law, estate planning and special needs planning, including Wills and Trusts, Medicaid planning and estate administration. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Andrew is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. Andrew is also a member of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar, where he is active in the Medicaid and Estate planning sections. Mr. Lamkin is a Certified Court Evaluator and frequently author’s articles and conducts seminars for non profit and civic organizations in the areas of asset protection, estate tax liability, probate, advanced directives, veterans benefits and special needs planning.

A POB Chamber member since 2008 and a board members since 2010, Andrew was formerly the chamber’s first vice president. He was named the POB Chamber Businessperson of the Year in 2014 by the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce. He has led the charge on high profile POB chamber committees such as the relatively new charity initiative. He has also been instrumental in organizing the town’s Memorial Day Parade for the past eight years and has helped make the chamber’s golf outing an annual success.

Andrew received his J.D. from Widener School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. in Political Science and History from Syracuse University in 1996. Andrew is also an active member of the Senior Umbrella Network of Nassau County (SUNN). Andrew and his wife have a daughter and son and reside in Melville, NY.
