    Bio: Erica Chase-Gregory, Director

    Erica Chase-Gregory joined the Farmingdale SBDC in 2011. Erica owned and operated her own consulting business prior to joining the Small Business Development Center. Her previous experience working with Federal, State and Local government agencies has become a valuable asset to her clients who wish to pursue government contracts. She specializes in assisting clients with the federal, state and/or local certification processes. Mrs. Chase-Gregory was appointed the Regional Director of Farmingdale SBDC in 2015. During her time with the SBDC the center has assisted over 11,300 small businesses, helping them access $267.5 million dollars to start or to expand their businesses.

    Erica conducts business workshops for various community organizations as well as being involved with many long island business networking groups. Under her leadership the Farmingdale Center has won numerous awards for excellence and the center is a top performing center in NY State.

     Information about SBDC:

    The Farmingdale Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is located on the campus of Farmingdale State College and provides free, one-on-one business advising. This free technical assistance is available to anyone who wants to start a business or who already owns a business.

    Our Mission

    The mission of the SBDC is to provide professional business advisement, education, network resources and to advocate for small business and entrepreneurs.

    SBDC Overview

    The SBDC at Farmingdale State College plays a key role in economic development by providing free, high-quality, technical and management assistance to start-up and existing small businesses. Talented, certified SBDC business advisors are ready to counsel and train you to make your business succeed.

    Through direct, one-on-one counseling, the SBDC provides a range of management and technical assistance services and information.  Services range from answering startup and business structure questions to assisting with business plans, cash flow projections, marketing plans, loan information and much more.

    have been invited by member JoAnn Cave to enjoy a fun evening of networking and candy making

    at Chocolate Works in Plainview Centre (371 South Oyster Bay Road)

    $33.00 per person includes a dozen premium chocolate dipped pretzels that you will personally create!

    Milk, dark & white chocolate flavors with a multitude of toppings to choose from. Plus a light dinner and drinks (including wine).

    Please bring an apron if you want to protect your clothing.

    It’s Back! The POB Chamber Holiday Party will be hosted by Prime Burger Bar on Monday evening, December 5th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Join fellow members, co-workers and guests to network and celebrate the holiday season at this delicious new Plainview destination.

    Exciting raffle prizes (tickets!) will benefit the chamber’s current charity partner, The Sophia Valsamos Foundation.

    As a chamber member, your $50 admission includes one glass of wine or beer, table appetizers, a burger of your choice with two toppings (with fries of course!) and two scoops of ice cream for dessert. Soft drinks and coffee are also included in this value price. Non-chamber member admission is $60 per person.
