Career Day Inc. Comes to POB – Participate!

Looking to make an impact on students considering their career paths? You can be among those who will participate in the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s first annual collaboration with Career Day Inc. — Long Island’s leading career education and awareness program. It will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at POB JFK High School. The program emphasizes the importance of setting goals and using education to achieve aspirations by providing a forum for every student to feel valued and more confident.

Participants from different fields and professions will share their individual experiences and knowledge about their jobs including success stories and, more importantly, their love for what they do.  Students will interact with speakers in small groups sessions and are encouraged to ask questions.

Not able to attend but would like to contribute? You can be a program sponsor; donations are accepted for direct expenses such as lunch and snacks

This highly successful Long Island nonprofit was founded by Beth Bucheister in honor of her late husband. Many other LI school districts have benefited from the program in past years, including Jericho HS, Hicksville Middle School and Long Island Lutheran HS.
