Members Connect, Gain Key Marketing, Sales Tactics
The chamber’s Zoom rooms were vibrant and valuable this week, with about 25 different members and guests joining in. On Wednesday evening the 13th, there was open networking, sharing of timely tips and an important list of what you can do now regarding marketing your business from expert Edie Reinhardt of RDT Content Marketing. The next morning, the Sandler Training Institute’s Rob Fishman offered an engaging workshop on how client relationships look different right now. “Don’t do different things, do them differently,” learned Laura Avital of Mill Brook Travel.
On Wednesday, member Brad Scherer of Klerer Financial Services offered this tip: If possible put some of your PPP loan money toward retirement plans and Donna Bloom of Wise Mind Hypnosis suggested giving yourself a gift each day, whether it be time to walk, work on a crafting project or other activity, so we all have something positive to remember when the pandemic is in the past. Edie Reinhardt capped off the meeting with five definitive tips for “staying visible and memorable with contacts,” Number five: “Establish a plan for adapting your marketing with a target audience and goals. Allocate resources and set daily or weekly tasks in order to execute it.”
How to remain essential to your clients by focusing on their needs, not yours, was the theme of Thursday’s special workshop given by Rob Fishman. Attendee Sarah Bogaty of Bogaty Communications noted, “The major take-away for me was how we should approach our marketing. Rather than try and ‘sell’ right now, we need to become trusted advisors, people who our clients can’t consider cutting from their budgets.”
Be sure to join us for two networking events in June: Tuesday, the 2nd and Wednesday, the 24th
