Bio: Erica Chase-Gregory, Director
Erica Chase-Gregory joined the Farmingdale SBDC in 2011. Erica owned and operated her own consulting business prior to joining the Small Business Development Center. Her previous experience working with Federal, State and Local government agencies has become a valuable asset to her clients who wish to pursue government contracts. She specializes in assisting clients with the federal, state and/or local certification processes. Mrs. Chase-Gregory was appointed the Regional Director of Farmingdale SBDC in 2015. During her time with the SBDC the center has assisted over 11,300 small businesses, helping them access $267.5 million dollars to start or to expand their businesses.
Erica conducts business workshops for various community organizations as well as being involved with many long island business networking groups. Under her leadership the Farmingdale Center has won numerous awards for excellence and the center is a top performing center in NY State.

The Farmingdale Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is located on the campus of Farmingdale State College and provides free, one-on-one business advising. This free technical assistance is available to anyone who wants to start a business or who already owns a business.
The mission of the SBDC is to provide professional business advisement, education, network resources and to advocate for small business and entrepreneurs.
The SBDC at Farmingdale State College plays a key role in economic development by providing free, high-quality, technical and management assistance to start-up and existing small businesses. Talented, certified SBDC business advisors are ready to counsel and train you to make your business succeed.
Through direct, one-on-one counseling, the SBDC provides a range of management and technical assistance services and information. Services range from answering startup and business structure questions to assisting with business plans, cash flow projections, marketing plans, loan information and much more.
