“And Now, the End Is Near…”
This is my last president’s message, which marks the end of my four year stint as President of the Chamber. What a journey it’s been!
Over the past four years our organization has grown, created new programs and done some remarkable things. Most importantly, we continue to be a vibrant group of business people who work hard to succeed, connect and contribute.
Congratulations to our newly elected officers! Andrew Lamkin, President; Marianne Plummer, Executive Vice President; David Weinstein, Second Vice President; Andrea Goldman, Membership Secretary; Gary Epstein, Treasurer; and Jim Baker, Recording Secretary. Together with the existing Board members, including newly elected board members Michael Chad, Stephanie Horn, Cheryl Dender and Lindsay Covello, the future is bright! Our Board of Directors and newly elected officers are a great group of people who will continue to lead the Chamber and bring energy and ideas to us all.
I’ve enjoyed the past four years as President—it’s been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. It’s been great working with, and getting to know, so many people. I’ve also enjoyed networking, doing business with so many people and contributing in a positive way to our business community and neighborhood. I deeply appreciate all of the support that you’ve provided to me.
I hope you’ll continue to be involved, join a committee, help with a project and come to meetings and events. “You gotta be in it to win it!”
Thank you for the past four years—it’s been a blast!
Enjoy the summer!
