What do you get when two vibrant chambers of commerce converge in one exciting meeting space? A successfully sweet networking event! On Monday evening March 21st over 40 members of the Plainview-Old Bethpage and Syosset-Woodbury Chambers gathered at Chocolate Works in Plainview. Local businesspeople in neighboring towns had the opportunity to mingle and share what they do. And, no doubt, some new connections were forged.
Our thanks to Chocolate Works’ JoAnn Cave and her team for hosting us and providing a spread of delectable treats. As indicated on their website, in addition to providing a creative candy experience for any occasion, workshops and parties, the multi-faceted Chocolate Works is also about community and charity: They are a Gold Sponsor of the POB Chamber’s SpringFest on May 22nd and five percent of all Plainview Chocolate Works corporate purchases are donated to PinkTie.org.
